Adrift came from a time that felt dark, disorienting, and untethered. Even the smallest sense of grounding felt hard to find. This piece came to life as I slowly started to find my footing again.
Elements within the artwork were influenced by textures and organic materials I observed in a hot spring in Utah and along a shoreline in Hawaii.
